Publications

Lavinia is Founder and Director of EPS (2006), and then TMW (2020). She has done considerable research, like Ellie & Rachel and is keen to promote a healthy positive language around Mental Health and neurodiversity. They write a lot of blogs for both companies, and Wendy supports with TMW data.

Training

Lavinia offers parents the bespoke Parental Training better know as The Expert Parent Program. This is designed per child per family with a few sessions to tweak parenting skills, usually around a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) or Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) profile of their child. Rachel offers training  to support professionals working with Youth Offenders and substance misuse. There are several CPD  (Continuing Professional Development) modules that have been created, designed and tested to CPD standards by the team consisting of Mental Health Nurses & Teachers.

Researchers

Rachel, Lavinia, & Ellie all do further research around their specialist areas that allow us to bring more knowledge to professionals and parents. Some of the research becomes publications, or are upload to our Word Press or Patreon accounts. We are also very fortunate in having one of The M Word cic Non Executive Directors (NED's), Wendy, spend time trawling through anonymised data to pick out trends and patterns that will help us understand our Autistic community better. We can also work on commissioned research, as well as our ongoing current projects.

Media

Yasmin is our Digital Media and Content Creator. She films all of our training content for schools, workplaces and parents around Mental Health and Autism, including ADHD and PDA. She also serves as our resident young person giving vital and honest view points that our young people face. She is proudly Autistic and prides herself on being open and honest with this.
