Gaming Industry

(Professionals, Mentors, Designers)

There are many young people who are neurodivergent and find accessing gaming easier than tutoring, socialising, or learning yet these skills can not only be gained through gaming, but utilised as transferable skills to other tasks. There are many mentors providing gaming input and working with young people who struggle with anxiety and low mood. Yet they have very little training or knowledge and wish to gain knowledge and be more competent in their job role. Equally there are many professionals who use gaming as a way of connecting and would like to be more able to identify the needs as to how best to support a young person whether it is through coding, design, or simply socialising to increase confidence.
